Trama:



Nell'Inghilterra di fine Ottocento, alla vigilia della festa di capodanno del 1899, un inventore costruisce una macchina
del tempo e cerca di convincere alcuni notabili della propria scoperta. Siccome costoro non capiscono e si burlano di
lui, decide di partire per un viaggio alla volta del futuro.







Effettua due fermate nelle due guerre mondiali ed una successiva durante una ipotetica guerra atomica il 18 agosto del
1966. A causa dello scoppio del fungo atomico la natura si ribella e il magma vulcanico sta quasi per raggiungerlo
quando riesce ad azionare la macchina e a fuggire nel futuro. Molti secoli scorrono veloci mentre il veicolo appare
ancora sommerso dalla lava solidificata. Quando questa si disgrega il viaggiatore è ormai quasi giunto ad un milione
di anni nel futuro.....
